A busy week ahead for CB radio in UK

So a busy week of CB radio is just about to get under way.

On Tuesday 31st October there's is the Halloween AM net from 7-9 pm on channel 14 mid band (27.125am) There has been interest in this net in the past with TM1 and the CTX lads both getting on air for it so hopefully they are able to switch on this year.

Thursday 2nd November marks 36 years to the day of legal CB in the UK with a UK-wide net running from 7-10pm on channel 36 (27/81) 27.95125 fm. Also to a lesser degree 27.125am & 27.275 usb (ch14 & 27 mid band)

Finishing off for the folks who couldn't make the Thursday net, we have a local gathering on Saturday 4th November with a meet & convoy to mark the 36th year from 2pm at Gleniffer Braes in Paisley, Scotland. I've been wigging about the band and it's creating quite a stir so I'm expecting a reasonable turn-out for this one.

Hopefully we get good conditions for the events and manage to make a good few contacts. I'll report how we got on next week
